Spot the difference? (African invasion or persuation?)

 Spotted it? 
well there is no difference nor similarities....well they might just be one similarity from what i have gathered, both Gwen Stafani's L.A.M.B (right) and Marc Jacob's (right) S/S11 collections display an array of African influences from prints to accessories.Which makes me wonder really? when did Gwen and Marc come to Sub and Southern Africa and how come i knew nothing of it?

With NY fashion finally over these are some of the question that linger in my thoughts, what does this say about African designs and the fabric manufactures? is African fashion now going be a main stream trend? African invasion or persuasion?one can only wonder while time has the answers...
