STIAAN LOUW '6'

I have been waiting with excitement and anticipation for of Stiaan Louw's new collection 6. on the 18 of February " 6" made it's debut at the JFW2011 and yes the collection has certainly lived up it's reputation from it's inception.

The collection draws inspiration from Masai, Middle Eastern, Indian and ancient Greek elements to create garments reminiscent of the Mesopotamian ideal and bridges the gap between the Afro and Euro-centric fashion void, the somewhat feminine collection displays range of flowy* fabrics in subtle/neutral colours from nude to purple with a dash of  bright coloured accesories.

After a display of this breath taking collection Stiaan Louw is certainly my number on means-wear designer.
